WHAT IS A MARKETSHARE?: Our marketshare is a solution for folks that wish to be involved in the farm, but need more flexibility than the CSA can offer. While it does complement our standard CSA share, it's a great standalone option for purchasing our produce at a discount. Our marketshare is a digital credit system. Spend $100 or more and you receive an extra 10% in value that is then uploaded onto your own personal online account that can then be used on our online farm store, or in person with us at the Midland Farmer's market.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE MARKETSHARE?: Shares are available with a minimum purchase of $100 and receive an additional volume credit of 10%. If you run out mid-season, you can renew anytime. However, renewal amounts must be $100 or more to qualify for the additional 10% credit. All shares above $200 get a Good Stead Farm organic canvas grocery tote.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Create an account with us through our online farm store - this is where your credit will be uploaded to. Then fill out the marketshare sign up form. This is where you decide the amount of credit you'd like to have available on your account. Once your payment has been received, your account is credited your signup value, plus an extra 10%. Now you're ready to place an order and know that your balance is covered! Every time you place an order through the online store, you select "Pay from my store credit" and your total is deducted. You can check your balance from your account at any time, as well as look at past purchases. Use your share when you want, on what you want - it never expires!
If you're new to our online farm store, aside from our own organic vegetables, we also carry organic, local, and/or chemical free food options from other producers and growers from our state. Items like apples, pasta, mushrooms, soap, pork, beef, fresh cranberries, seaweed, maple syrup, baking mixes, etc. These "extra" items are only available for purchase through the online store. It's also worth noting that after CSA, all of our farm inventory is put on the online store. This means that you get first chance at popular items (that sell fast or sell out at market) like our honey, spinach, garlic braids, first of the season baby greens, tomatoes, and more.
WHEN IS THE STORE OPEN?: Our online store runs year-round, however is not open every day of the week. The store is open for orders on Mondays/Tuesdays and again on Thursdays/Fridays. This schedule gives us plenty of time to harvest, receive inventory, and pack your orders. You can open a marketshare anytime, and renew anytime.
HOW DO I GET MY ORDER: You have four options for receiving your order. You can, 1: Pick up from the farm, 2: Pay extra for home delivery (+$5), 3: Pick up from the Midland Farmer's market or, 4: Add on to your CSA share pick up or home delivery. Distribution days and times can be found on the online store.
CAN I PLACE AN ORDER THROUGH THE STORE IF I DON'T HAVE A MARKETSHARE?: Absolutely! The only difference is that instead of selecting "Store Credit" when you go to check out, you will choose to pay either with cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, or EBT.
