Our fall shares typically begin in October and run through Thanksgiving. Unlike our main season CSA which picks up from the farm weekly, fall shares are picked up every other week for a total of four shares. These shares are considerably larger than our summer shares and are meant to fill your pantry and basement with storable items. All members get a "Best Storage Practices" sheet, as well as recipes and ideas for use.
Note: When putting together these shares, I am emphasizing staple foods like potatoes, carrots/beets, salad greens, winter squash, onions, garlic, etc. There will be mix-and-match options for many of the less common items so you're able to get a sampling of many things, without having to take home bulk amounts of everything. In sum, these shares are meant to give you variety while focusing on larger quantities of staple storage items.
In 2021, our fall shares contained some combination of the following items: fingerling potatoes, garlic, shallots, rainbow carrots, celery, red and yellow onions, winter squash, leeks, local organic apples, beets, fennel, rutabaga, salad turnips, local organic cranberries, sunchokes, cabbage, radishes, chicory, bunched greens, daikon radishes, micro greens, romaine heads, lettuce mix and spinach.
2022 Fall Shares are not yet available for purchase. Check back for fall availability, schedule and pricing.
