We strive to provide you with food that excites and entices you to cook, eat and share with others. Our goal is to grow fresh, whole food with an alternative, sustainable approach to farming. We do this by:
- Treating the soil as the complex ecosystem it is. We feed the soil, which in turn feeds the plants that eventually nourishes the animals - this includes us!
- Fostering a relationship of respect and care between us and the animals raised.
- Providing habitat for pollinators.
- Favoring heirloom and heritage plant and animal species in order to produce a healthy, vigorous farm which in turn provides appealing, nutritious and delicious produce and protein.
- Encouraging and even mimicking the diversity and resiliency found in natural ecosystems.
- Making this food available to all, regardless of income.
- Inviting you, our community, to visit the farm, say hello, ask questions and see firsthand how your food is being raised!
